# Solana-Based Meme Coin Launchpad PumpFun Launches New Financial Solution 'PumpFi' PumpFun, a Solana-based meme coin launchpad platform, has unveiled its new financial solution, 'PumpFi,' aimed at enhancing accessibility to digital assets. On November 1 (local time), PumpFun announced via X (formerly Twitter) that PumpFi will allow users to purchase digital assets, including meme coins and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), through installment payments. Under this scheme, users are required to pay one-third of the asset's price upfront and can settle the remaining balance in three equal monthly installments. The launch comes at a critical time, as PumpFun has been grappling with declining user activity following multiple fraudulent token incidents and scandals. Earlier this year, in February, the platform's trading volume plunged approximately 63% compared to the previous month. Industry analysts view the introduction of PumpFi as a strategic move by PumpFun to improve accessibility to digital assets and counteract waning trading volumes. Separately, on October 20, PumpFun launched its own decentralized exchange (DEX) called PumpSwap. Within just ten days of its release, PumpSwap surpassed $10 billion in cumulative trading volume.
