# Web3 Music Platform BeatSwap Announces Strategic Partnership with Internet Computer (ICP) BeatSwap, the emerging Web3 music platform, revealed on the 30th that it has formed a strategic alliance with Internet Computer (ICP). This collaboration seeks to harness decentralized infrastructure to manage copyright metadata and usage records transparently while creating a global standard for real-time integration across multiple blockchain ecosystems. Utilizing its comprehensive Web3 platform, BeatSwap currently enables the tokenization of music copyrights as Real-World Assets (RWA), promotes interactive communities between fans and musicians, and operates a decentralized exchange (DEX) dedicated to music RWA. Within this partnership framework, ICP will deliver a suite of essential technologies to BeatSwap. These include Canister-based smart contracts, which guarantee the secure and permanent recording of critical music-related data, and HTTP Outcall functionality that supports real-time blockchain connectivity. This technology allows automatic and immutable documentation of ownership rights and usage records for copyright holders, performers, and record labels. By automating copyright utilization recording, the system establishes a clear settlement standard, ensuring the fair distribution of royalties.
