# ETF Store President Predicts BlackRock Will Apply for Solana and XRP ETFs
Nate Geraci, President of ETF Store, has predicted a high likelihood that BlackRock will apply for ETFs for Solana (SOL) and XRP. Geraci shared this outlook on X (formerly Twitter) on the 14th.
"BlackRock will apply for both Solana and XRP ETFs," Geraci stated, adding that "Solana could happen at any time, and the likelihood of an XRP application increases once the SEC lawsuit concludes."
Geraci further explained, "BlackRock is currently the frontrunner for Bitcoin and Ether ETFs. I don’t think BlackRock will allow competitors to release ETFs for two of the top five crypto assets without a fight."
Meanwhile, nine companies, including Franklin Templeton, have already applied for an XRP ETF.
