Binance to Shut NFTs as Trading Volume Drops 95%
- Binance will halt all NFT support by July 3, 2026, requiring user asset migration.
- Major exchanges are withdrawing as NFT trading volume plunges $22.6B since 2022.
On June 4, 2026, Cryptopolitan reported that Binance will discontinue all support for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on its exchange, effective July 3, 2026. The company instructed all users to migrate their NFT assets before the end date to avoid permanent loss of access.
This development comes as several large crypto exchanges have announced similar withdrawals from NFT services in response to an industry-wide decline. The sector has seen a rapid contraction in trading volumes, which fell from $23.8 billion in 2022 to $1.2 billion so far in 2026.
The cancellation of NFT Paris 2026 further highlighted the market’s downturn and the pressures facing NFT-focused events and platforms. These shifts demonstrate an accelerating move away from centralized venues supporting NFT trading.
