On October 19, 2026, LCX Crypto News reported that the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) updated its Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) register, adding BingX, YouHodler, and Banco Santander’s Openbank as new compliant crypto asset service providers. This update pushed the total number of entities registered under MiCA requirements to 375 across the European Union.

Further additions included Spain’s Prakma Markets, as well as Germany’s cooperative lenders VR-Bank Alb-Blau-Donau and VR Bank im südlichen Franken. These registrations highlight ESMA’s ongoing efforts to enforce compliance with the EU’s evolving digital asset regulations.

ESMA’s EMT and ART registers, which cover e-money tokens and asset-referenced tokens, did not see new entries in the latest update. These segments remained unchanged during this cycle.

The number of providers categorized as non-compliant has increased, now standing at 178 according to LCX Crypto News. This rise underscores ESMA’s continued monitoring and enforcement of MiCA requirements within the crypto sector.
