# Mt. Gox Transfers Over $26 Million in Bitcoin to Unknown Wallet
By Jeong-seon Myung, BlockMedia - Cryptocurrency exchange Mt. Gox transferred 332.059 BTC (approximately $26.67 million) to an unknown wallet address (1HUa22…FguZQ7) on September 11 from 14:45 to 14:54 (UTC+8).
In addition to this substantial transfer, several smaller Bitcoin (BTC) transactions were conducted. BTC worth several hundred dollars was sent to Bitstamp and another unspecified address (1K8E7A…dJMYgY).
Seven hours prior to this transfer, Mt. Gox had also transferred 11,501 BTC (approximately $90.5 million) to the address '1Pazva'.
Mt. Gox has been undergoing bankruptcy proceedings since 2014, after approximately 850,000 BTC were stolen in a hacking incident. The exchange is currently making preparations to return Bitcoin and cash to its creditors.
There has been no official announcement regarding whether these latest transfers are connected to the repayment process.
