# Pi Network Issues KYC and Mainnet Migration Deadline
Pi Network has announced that users must complete their Know Your Customer (KYC) verification and migrate to the mainnet by the official launch date, Pi Day, on March 14.
On the 10th, Pi Network stated via X (formerly known as Twitter) that any Pi mined more than six months ago would be void if the required procedures are not completed by the deadline. Originally, the cutoff date was set for the 28th of last month but was extended to March 14 to facilitate a smoother transition for users.
However, delays in functionality and balance verification issues have caused significant disruptions, leading to user dissatisfaction. Approximately 80% of all users have reported difficulties during the balance verification process.
Following the announcement, Pi Coin's price plummeted. As of 5:10 p.m. on the 11th, Pi Coin had dropped 23.28% from the previous week, trading at $1.38 on CoinMarketCap.
Meanwhile, Pi Network is eyeing a potential listing on Binance coinciding with Pi Day. The Pi community has been actively working towards getting listed on the Binance platform, including conducting listing votes within the Binance community. The anticipation has grown with Binance's recent adoption of a community vote-based listing approval system.
